The more addons you install, the harder they are to keep track of. Liveries, sceneries and aircraft pile up, load times creep up, and one bad package can stop the sim from starting.
Addon Manager gives you one place to organise it all. Group addons into profiles for the flying you're about to do, check for problems before you launch, and start the sim with exactly the setup you want.
